Our relationships with each other will always fall short of our hopes if God is not the primary relationship we nurture and maintain.
• John 15: 5 says, “If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit, apart from me you can do nothing.”
We should consider the Apostle John’s words carefully. John speaks of the most intimate relationship we can have, one, where we can live and dwell within God and He within us. It is only through this intimate relationship, John tells us we will bear fruit and apart from this rich relationship we can do nothing of real value.
That is both wonderful news and an invitation for us to find our identity in Christ and live through His power and strength. If God is not the primary relationship in our lives,. the fruit we will bear will be little and nothing else we maintain in our lives will be flourish the way we desire including our relationships.
It is both our hope and prayer that you have a deep meaningful relationship with God and that your life and relationships are abundantly blessed by our Lord and Savior Jesus.
This module and associated group were created to explore our own relationships with God and how that impacts our relationships with one another.
Lord Jesus we pray you will be glorified and will lead us to abide in you.
