Lesson 1 of 0
In Progress

For Consideration

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we come to the end of our course on understanding the love of Jesus for Christians, I want to encourage you to open your hearts to Jesus’ words and teachings. Throughout the course, we have explored how Jesus’ words and actions throughout the Bible demonstrate his love for us, and how the meaning behind them can help us to better understand and experience his love in our own lives.

In Module 1, we looked at examples of Jesus’ love, such as his sacrifice on the cross and his command to love our enemies. These passages show us the depth and radical nature of Jesus’ love, and they remind us that his love is not based on our own worth or merit, but rather it is a love that is freely given to us.

In Module 2, we considered the significance of Jesus’ words and how they apply to our lives as believers. We saw that Jesus’ commands are not just nice suggestions, but rather they are instructions for how we are to live as followers of Christ. We also discussed the role of the Holy Spirit in enabling us to love others in a selfless way, and we were reminded of Romans 5:5, which tells us that “God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

In Module 3, we engaged in personal reflection on the impact of Jesus’ love in our own lives and faith. We considered how Jesus’ love has touched us and shaped our relationship with him, and we reflected on how it has impacted the way we live our lives.

As we bring all of these ideas together, I want to encourage you to open your hearts to Jesus’ words and teachings. Let his love fill your hearts and guide your actions. Remember that it is through the love of Jesus that we are able to love others, and it is his love that gives us hope and strength in our daily lives. As 1 John 4:11 says, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” May we strive to live out this command and share the love of Jesus with those around us.

May you experience the love of Jesus in a deeper way as you open your hearts to his words and teachings. May his love fill you and guide you as you go forward in your faith. Amen.
