It can be hard to trust again after being hurt, but faith in God can give us the strength and courage to take that risk. As Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

It can be difficult to forgive someone who has hurt us, but it is an essential part of the healing process. Colossians 3:13 says, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” 
  1. Support: Finding support from friends, family, and community can also be helpful in overcoming past hurt or trauma. It can be comforting to know that you are not alone and that there are people who care about you and want to help you heal.

It’s important to remember that overcoming past hurt or trauma is not a quick or easy process, and it may take some time and effort to find healing and hope through Christian dating. But with faith, forgiveness, and support, it is possible to build a healthy and fulfilling relationship with a suitable and acceptable partner. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
